Horse Heaven Hills. “This wine is 100% Canoe Ridge Estate Vineyards, from the Horse Heaven Hills Appellation, a region I love for its fruit and tannin expression. To capture the fruit intensity of Canoe Ridge, we blended 51% Cabernet, 46% Syrah, and 3% Malbec: each contributing to the flavor and structure of the wine, but none dominating the blend. The result is an elegantly structured wine with intensity of fruit and excellent balance of tannin, acidity and weight.”

We allow you 6 months from your release date to pick up your wine. If you are unable to visit us within this timeframe, please call our concierge at 1-800-866-6276. If you do not contact us, after the 6 months we will donate your wine to our Charitable Donations Program.

Don't you want your wine? The last day to pick up the 2011 Fall Classic Focus release is July 8th, 2012 or your wines will be donated.

Our famous Seattle sun is finally starting to pop out now and again. As it gets warmer, I always start craving lighter, fruitier wines and there is a new limited release in the wine shop that is a perfect fit. We’ just released a delicious 2011 Unoaked Chardonnay from Columbia Valley that has a very crisp, granny smith apple flavor profile that is my new favorite for summer. A glass accompanied by light appetizers on the patio, mixed with some sun, and I have my perfect Saturday afternoon.

My suggestion for this weekend is to come on down to the Chateau Ste Michelle Wine Shop, grab a bottle of our new Unoaked Chardonnay and enjoy our newly opened VRC patio. That's right, our patio is open and ready for visitors. Join us as we sip away the afternoon in style.

2nd Annual Staycation Event is a Huge Success!
If you were anywhere near our winery on May 27th you might have thought we were having a sold-out concert, but in fact it was our Memorial Day Weekend 2nd Annual Staycation! We welcomed over 4,000 guests who not only enjoyed great wine, music and food from seven local food trucks, but also viewed a great lineup of gorgeous exotic cars supplied by Exotics@RTC. The rain held off for the day and we were happy to see so many families out picnicking on our grounds.



You can see by the photos that this was truly a special day! Mark your calendars for next year: Sunday, May 26th, 2013: and come one, come all!
