Sunday Night Bonnie Raitt Concert

Like the thousands of excited concert-goers at the sold-out Mavis Staples and Bonnie Raitt show Sunday night, we were startled by the sudden black-out and disappointed when the show had to end abruptly just as Bonnie was closing it.
We learned later that winds caused a tree to fall across a primary power line, which led to an area-wide power outage! Last night's show was the first in the 29 years of the Chateau Ste. Michelle Summer Concert Series to suffer such an extraordinary event, and we sincerely thank our loyal concert-goers for their understanding. Bonnie and Mavis put on a wonderful show with great music nonetheless!
