Among Old World Riesling producers of Europe, Riesling is renowned for its capacity to age beautifully for decades. For centuries, aged Rieslings have been the benchmark of quality. This spring, Eroica, a partnership between Chateau Ste. Michelle of Washington and Dr. Loosen estate of the Mosel, will be among the first American Riesling producers to offer aged vintages for the U.S. marketplace when it re-releases its 2007 Eroica Riesling, which has been cellared for an additional five years of bottle age and 2001 Eroica Single Berry Select ten years post-vintage. Starting in March, Eroica (Chateau Ste. Michelle) will re-release a limited quantity of 2007 Eroica Riesling to restaurants in select markets across the country, including New York, Washington DC, Miami, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Seattle, Portland and Northern and Southern California.

Top American Winery Ranking Marks Chateau Ste. Michelle's Third Prestigious Honor this Fall
Drinks International magazine recently announced the "World's Most Admired Wine Brands," a comprehensive industry poll of the world's best regarded wine, and Washington's Chateau Ste. Michelle earned the #13 spot, the highest ranking for an American winery. This honor comes on the heels of Chateau Ste. Michelle winning "Washington's Most Respected Brand" in the Puget Sound Business Journal's "Battle of the Brands" poll in August, in which the winery beat out distinguished Washington organizations like Starbucks, Microsoft, Nordstrom and REI in an online poll. In addition, in October Chateau Ste. Michelle was named as one of Wine & Spirits magazine's "Wineries of the Year" for the 17th time, more than any other American winery.
