Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville will kick off its 28th summer concert series on Saturday, June 4th with a performance by The Moody Blues. Tickets for the winery’s concerts will go on sale Saturday, April 23rd at 10 a.m. online at www.ticketmaster.com and through all Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the Chateau Ste. Michelle wine shop from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily with the exception of Sunday, April 24, Chateau Ste. Michelle winery will be closed over the Easter holiday.

In an effort to increase the appreciation of Riesling around the world, Chateau Ste. Michelle and Dr. Loosen estate recently spearheaded a coalition of prominent Riesling producers and organizations that will host Riesling events in key Riesling countries around the world on a rotating basis.

Wine & Spirits Magazine named Chateau Ste. Michelle as one of its “Wineries of the Year” for the 16th time in its October 2011 Buying Guide, making it the most honored American winery in the magazine’s “Hall of Fame.” Only one other winery (Penfolds) has received more “Winery of the Year” awards with 20 honors.

Woodinville, Wash. - In Winemetrics recently published 2010 Chain Restaurant Wine Distribution Report, Chateau Ste. Michelle has pulled ahead of Beringer in combined by-the-bottle (BTB) and by-the-glass (BTG) distribution in casual and upscale casual chains to claim the #1 spot in distribution. The Winemetrics Chain Restaurant Wine Distribution Report is considered the largest and most credible on-premise audits in the wine industry today.

More than 600 Riesling devotees gathered on the grounds of Chateau Ste. Michelle on Sunday, July 11 to experience the finest Rieslings from around the world at the Riesling Rendezvous Grand Tasting. Hosted by Chateau Ste. Michelle, the leading North American Riesling producer and Dr. Loosen, the famed German Riesling estate, the third Riesling Rendezvous featured wineries from Germany, Alsace, Austria, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Michigan, Washington, Oregon, California, New York and New Jersey. Attendees also enjoyed an array of Riesling friendly foods prepared by Chateau Ste. Michelle Culinary Director John Sarich and Executive Chef Janet Hedstrom.
