4 ripe avocados
Juice of 1 lime
4 to 5 pink grapefruit
3 to 4 heads butter lettuce
Spicy lime dressing, recipe follows
Cut avocados in half and remove the pits. Slice about ¼ inch thick and sprinkle with lime juice; set aside.
With a knife remove skin and white membrane from grapefruit. Remove individual sections and transfer to a small bowl; set aside.
Place butter lettuce leaves on a serving platter or bowl. Creatively arrange avocados and pink grapefruit sections on top of lettuce. Drizzle with dressing.
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
2 Tbsp honey
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/8 tsp ground cumin
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
¾ cups olive oil
Combine ingredients together.
