Chateau Ste. Michelle is one of the few premium wineries in the world with two state-of-the-art winemaking facilities, one devoted to whites and another to reds.
This dedicated approach to winemaking allows head winemaker Bob Bertheau to customize each winery to the unique specifications of red and white wines. Bob and white winemaker Wendy Stuckey make the white wines at the winery’s Woodinville Chateau, 15 miles northeast of Seattle.
Bob and our red winemaker craft our red wines at Chateau Ste. Michelle's winery at Canoe Ridge Estate in Eastern Washington near the town of Paterson. Situated on a steep slope with breathtaking views overlooking the Columbia River, the winery is located adjacent to our Vineyard at Canoe Ridge Estate, which is LIVE and Salmon Safe certified and located in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA.
The Vineyard at Canoe Ridge Estate was planted in 1991 by our vineyard manager Mimi Nye and the Canoe Ridge Estate winery was built in 1993 to accommodate our growing world-class red wine portfolio. We are pleased to offer tastings at this beautiful site for the first time on a seasonal basis beginning June 26th. Join us for this intimate tasting of Chateau Ste. Michelle's Single Vineyard and Ethos wines while taking in some of the most spectacular views in Eastern Washington. Experience how this special site, and state-of-the art winery, are dedicated to producing the highest quality red wines from Washington state.
