Chateau Ste. Michelle will kick off its 28th summer concert series on Saturday, June 4th with a performance by The Moody Blues.
Tickets for the winery’s concerts will go on sale Saturday, April 23rd at 10 a.m. online at www.ticketmaster.com and through all Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the Chateau Ste. Michelle wine shop from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily with the exception of Sunday, April 24, Chateau Ste. Michelle winery will be closed over the Easter holiday.
The "2011 Chateau Ste. Michelle Summer Concert Series" will offer 19 concerts spanning the range of pop, jazz, rock and blues from June 4th through September 10th. Each concert takes place in the winery’s picturesque outdoor amphitheater with seating for 4,300. Acclaimed artists include, The Moody Blues, A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor, Lyle Lovett & John Hiatt, Jethro Tull, Steve Miller Band, INXS, Sarah McLachlan and Friends, YES and Styx, Bruce Hornsby and Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Chris Isaak, Gipsy Kings, Peter Frampton, Amos Lee, Huey Lewis and The News, Jeff Bridges, Chris Botti, Pink Martini, John Prine, The B-52’s & The Human League. Net proceeds from the annual concert series help fund Chateau Ste. Michelle’s charitable contributions program, which supports a broad range of non-profit organizations.
