A winter warming wine doesn't automatically mean red. There's nothing like fondue to feed the stomach and the soul on a cold winter's night, but I'd much rather pair the cheesy goodness with a robust white in my wine glass. Riesling makes a great match with the fondue pot, and Chateau Ste. Michelle's latest bottling offers lush peach and pear fruit balanced by a crisp, citrusy finish. It's warming yet refreshing all at the same time, a minor miracle when quaffing on a cold winter's day. (with bottle shot)
