Winemaker Bob Bertheau relates that, “Our Pinot Gris style falls between the lighter Italian Pinot Grigio and the richer, rounder Pinot Gris of Alsace.” Our tasters agreed, finding aromas and flavors of melon, sweet spice and tropical notes as well as hints of mineral. The wine was blended with 4% Viognier to add texture and a bit of floral character.
