Slightly gamy aromas surround a center of sweet peach tones in the nose, while on the palate less-than-intense sweet tastes of melon, apricot, and pear are straightforward and pretty. Additional notes of toast and nuts appear on the finish, as well as a pear-skin note that counterbalances the wine's sweet center. Serve with almond biscotti.
