This yellow colored Chardonnay opens with a lemon and tangerine like bouquet with a hint of oak. The flavor profile is full bodied, round and displays a touch of acidity. The flavor profile is a butterscotch and Bartlett pear blend with nice integrated vanilla oak. I also detected some white pepper and spice. The finish is dry and its refreshing acidity lingers for quite some time. This is a style of Chard that will appeal to oak lovers. It will pair very nicely with chicken cordon bleu.
