Chateau Ste. Michelle 2003 Columbia Valley Riesling Columbia Valley

88 points - “Top 100 Best Buy of 2004”  Wine Enthusiast - December 31, 2004

The workhorse wine for the Chateau, 375,000 cases strong. Consistently shows a nice mix of flavors revolving around grapefruit, white peaches and apricots, with freshness and well-managed off-dry sweetness. Never sugary, never cloying, it has almost as much charter as the Eroica for half the price.^

This off-dry white offers aromas and flavors of apples, pears, tangerines and orange zest. The crisp acidity gives this lots of food-pairing potential. Try with crab, scallops or baked oysters.
