Soft and open-textured, with pretty pear and nectarine flavors that ride on a delicate frame. Offers just enough acidity to stay fresh. (web only)

Chateau Ste. Michelle 2011 Riesling Columbia Valley

  Wines Northwest - July 12, 2012

This wine, described by winemaker Bob Bertheau as “our any day Riesling,” is nicely balanced in an off-dry style, still with ample acidity to pair well with crab cakes and many other lighter foods. Bright aromas of lime zest, pear and peach lead to a refreshing palate of apricot and citrus with notes of vanilla and mineral.

Chateau Ste. Michelle 2011 Riesling Columbia Valley

  The News Tribune - July 11, 2012

While this Riesling is definitely off-dry at 2.23% residual sugar, the low pH of 2.97 gives it ample acidity for perfect balance. It's a beautiful wine with aromas of melon and orange rind and flavors of tropical fruit, grapefruit and apple. Buy this by the case and enjoy it all summer long.
