Part of a Limited Release series, this Syrah is made from fruit that was sourced from the Wahluke Slope, and it’s co-fermented with 5% Viognier. Solid and substantial, it offers clear flavors of coffee, licorice, herb and earth, plus a deep, saturated note of blackberry syrup. A touch of dark chocolate infuses the finish.

Five of the Bordeaux grapes were used in this wine, and two-thirds of the blend is Cabernet Sauvignon. Most of the grapes came from the excellent Canoe Ridge Estate Vineyard, and the rest were sourced from Cold Creek Vineyard. Dark, saturated flavors of black cherry and cassis are balanced against ripe, firm tannins. It’s full bodied and flavorful, and it displays plenty of power.
