Chateau Ste. Michelle 2006 Columbia Valley Nellie's Garden Dry Rosé Columbia Valley

90 points  Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine - July 1, 2007

Its darkish rose color signals a deeper wine to follow, and this fairly rich, fresh and slightly juicy bottling comes through right on key. Its medium-full weight is balanced by vital acidity, and its bare hint of sweetness extends its fruit without reducing its desirability as a lightly vinous, thoroughly delightful partner to summertime meals.

Chateau Ste. Michelle 2006 Columbia Valley Nellie's Garden Dry Rosé Columbia Valley

“Excellent”  Wine Press Northwest - June 1, 2007

A collaboration of the red (Joshua Malong) and white (Brennon Leighton) teams turned our this pink Rhone rose that’s Syrah with Grenache, Viognier and Mourvedre. This memorial to the historic Stimson Estate’s grounds’ matriarch opens with whiffs of cranberry, rosemary, allspice and pine. Cranberry acidity and dark cherries on the mid-palate give this blush some oomph, which is a nice touch for a rose.
