Chateau Ste. Michelle — Washington State’s founding winery celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year — is set to release a limited edition bottling of its 2015 Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, featuring the original label from the first 1967 vintage, the year the winery was founded. The 50th Anniversary Special Bottling bottle will be available beginning April 1, 2017 at retailers nationwide.

Ste. Michelle Wine Estates was recently awarded the 2016 “United States Wine Producer of the Year Trophy” in the International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC). The IWSC honored its award winners at its 47th annual International Wine and Spirit Competition Awards Banquet held on November 16th at London’s Guildhall. According to the IWSC, the evening marked the culmination of a 365 day campaign to establish the world’s finest wines and spirits and reward true excellence in the industry.

Washington's founding winery Chateau Ste. Michelle is partnering with Washington restaurants to support the ninth annual "Raise a Glass, Fund a Scholarship" program to benefit Viticulture and Enology programs at Washington State University and other Northwest universities. More than 200 restaurants will participate in the "Raise a Glass, Fund a Scholarship" program which runs through the end of December 2016.
