Chateau Ste. Michelle head winemaker Bob Bertheau and white winemaker Wendy Stuckey were recently honored as “20 Most Admired Winemakers” by Vineyard & Winery Management Magazine. According to the publication, Vineyard & Winery Management launched the “20 Most Admired” issue “to shine a much-deserved spotlight in the North American wine industry.” The nominating committee was comprised of respected winemakers, grapegrowers, wine writers, educators, buyers, sommeliers and consultants across North America.

Raise A Glass, Fund A Scholarship" Program Runs Now Through December”

Washington's founding winery Chateau Ste. Michelle is partnering with Washington restaurants to support the seventh annual "Raise a Glass, Fund a Scholarship" program to benefit Viticulture and Enology programs at Washington State University and other Northwest universities. More than 200 restaurants will participate in the "Raise A Glass, Fund a Scholarship" program which runs now through the end of December 2014.

Woodinville, Wash. – It is with deep sadness that we share that on Sunday, October 5th we lost a long-time member of the Chateau Ste. Michelle family, our Culinary Director John Sarich. John passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family after battling a rare and aggressive form of thyroid cancer. John was a devoted father to his sons Biagio and Dominic and our thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time.
