Artist Series 4-Bottle Library Vertical

4-Bottle Set

2000 Artist Series Red Wine
The deep colored Meritage shows abundant aromatics of dried black cherry, currant, ripe blackberry, spicy cedar, cocoa dust, and a hint of vanilla. Flavor characteristics are black fruit focused, rich and concentrated and elegantly proportioned with sweet oak and supple tannins.

2001 Artist Series Red Wine
The Artist Series Meritage is a wine built for aging by carefully blending the top lots of the vintage for power, elegance and structure. Deep and concentrated, the dense blackberry, fresh raspberry and sweet mint aromas carry over on the palate. A higher percentage of Malbec was incorporated in the 2001 blend than in previous vintages, giving the wine a distinct bright, lush mouthfeel.

2006 Artist Series Red Wine
The 2006 Artist Series Meritage is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and a touch of Petit Verdot from our best vineyards in the Horse Heaven Hills, Columbia Valley and Wahluke Slope of Washington state. Each variety contributes a special attribute to the blend, resulting in a complex wine with seamless tannins. A “classic Washington” vintage that produced elegant, soft wines.

2008 Artist Series Red Wine
For the first time, the Artist Series blend includes all five Bordeaux grape varieties. The result is a multi-layered, complex and harmonious wine. Nearly all of the fruit came from our estate vineyards. Hints of cocoa, black cherry and spicy herbal notes highlight our juxtaposition of Canoe Ridge Estate and Cold Creek fruit in the blend. The finish is clean and complex all at the same time.
