This dry style of Gewürztraminer presents the celebrated spicy ginger and clove aromatics of a classic Gewürztraminer mixed with hints of rose, lychee and pink grapefruit. Half the wine was fermented in stainless steel to capture these classic fruit notes, and half in neutral oak barrels for added complexity and richness on the palate. Selected cool sites in Washington’s Columbia Valley yield bright, aromatic Gewürztraminer fruit.
2012 Chenin Blanc
This beautifully balanced vintage allowed these older vines to produce a complex yet fruit driven wine with aromas of melon fruit and just a touch of spice. The palate has refreshing fruit and natural crisp acidity followed by the fresh and soft finish.
