2012 Austral Red Wine
Wine geeks rejoice; there is a surprise waiting for you inside this classic Southern Rhone-style blend! Whole Clusters of Syrah were bucketed into the bottom of the tank, then gently macerated during a slow native fermentation to yield an earthy wine filled with exotic spice.

2011 Cold Creek Vineyard Syrah

2011 C-S-M Red Wine
C-S-M was crafted from grapes grown on Red Mountain where the heat, soil and age of the vines yield the bright red fruit with firm-full tannins and layers of complexity that typify this growing region. The blend is rich and luscious with beautiful structure that complements full bodied foods.
Typically we highlight one vineyard, but the Malbecs were so good in 2012 I couldn’t stick to just one! Concentrated, deeply colored and yet soft and round on the palate, it is one of my favorite blends to make every year for its amazing varietal expression.
2012 was a textbook year for so many red varietals – Mourvèdre being no exception. This wine shows the true complexity and soft, yet substantial style resulting from a warm vintage. This is truly one of my “character” blends every year.
2012 Stone Tree Vineyard Syrah
Stone Tree Vineyard perennially delivers top-notch grapes, but 2012 was an exceptional vintage for Syrah. Even vines that often provide only an element of spice became a core component of this Syrah. This is classic Wahluke Slope – lush and decadent, but surprisingly nuanced with velvety smooth tannins.
2014 Austral White Wine
This rhone-style blend of Marsanne (60%) and Rousanne (30%), delivers richness and structure showing stone fruit and ripe melon flavors. A touch of Viognier (10%) provides layers of peach and minerality. All wines were barrel fermented and aged for five months in neutral oak.
2013 Dry Gewürztraminer
This dry style of Gewürztraminer presents the celebrated spicy ginger and clove aromatics of a classic Gewürztraminer mixed with hints of rose, lychee and pink grapefruit.
2014 Midsummer's White
The 2014 Midsummer’s White is a refreshing, flavorful blend of Chenin Blanc, Riesling, Gewürztraminer and a touch of Muscat. Lush flavors of ripe peach and melon are complemented by lively acidity.
2014 Muscat Canelli
A fan favorite in our winery’s retail shop, the Muscat Canelli is a refreshing wine with aromas and flavors of sweet ripe pear and ginger spice. Its sweetness is perfectly balanced by its crisp acidity. Try this with Asian cuisine or an aperitif!
2013 Sauvignon Blanc Semillon
All of the fruit was grown in the beautiful Horse Heaven Vineyard. Anjou pear notes and a hint of grassiness complement the great fig notes of Semillon. 50% of the blend went to stainless and 50% was barrel fermented, adding dimension and a lingering finish to this crisp wine.
2013 Syrah Rosé
This is a tale of collaboration between our red and white teams. The results are beautiful flavors of strawberry and raspberry with subtle smoky notes.
2013 Unoaked Chardonnay
This alternative style of Chardonnay shows off the variety’s refreshing fruity side. We sourced the fruit from cooler vineyard sites and fermented it in stainless steel to highlight the fresh acidity, minerality, and crisp flavors of apples and pears.
This wine exhibits beautiful notes of guava, papaya and dried apricot flavors accented by delicate spicy aromas. The wine was primarily fermented in stainless steel (80%) to highlight the fruit, while 20% was barrel fermented to add layers of complexity to this jovial wine.
2013 Waussie Riesling
I love making this wine, partly because of my Australian roots. The grapes for this vintage were sourced from cooler regions of the Valley. Waussie (Washington + Aussie) is a dry, ‘Aussie Style’ Riesling with pleasing citrus aromas and crisp flavors, a delicate palate and a lingering finish.
2014 Oak Oval Gewürztraminer
This dry style Gewürztraminer presents the celebrated spicy ginger and clove aromatics of a classic Gewürztraminer mixed with hints of rose, lychee and pink grapefruit. This wine was fermented in the Oak Oval and aged sur lie for four months adding texture and complexity.
2014 Oak Oval Chardonnay
We received such great feedback on our Oak Oval wines that we had to produce a second one! Yakima Valley sourced Chardonnay was the right choice to break in our newest Oak Oval barrel. The wine was aged sur lie for four months to extract the beautiful apple, pear and nutmeg aromas.
2012 Walla Walla Red Wine
Wines from the unique Walla Walla Valley AVA can be anything from fine boned and elegant to broad and stout in structure. Our 2012 interpretation is a bridge between these extremes, full of bright fruit and sculpted tannin, like fine silk draped over an oak canopy.
