2017 Gewurztraminer and Pinot Gris "Spicy Pig" Blend
‘Gewürz’ means spice in German and P.I.G. is our three-letter code for Pinot Gris. So, our winemaking team lovingly refers to this wine as Spicy Pig! Pinot Gris fermented in tank adds notes of fresh apples and pears, while barrel fermented Gewürtraminer adds musky aromatics and a supple texture.
2017 Grenache Blanc Rattlesnake Hills
Historically from the Southern Rhone, this wine is medium-bodied with flavors of ripe stone fruit. Most of the wine was fermented in stainless steel adding brightness, but a portion was fermented naturally in old barrels to give the wine density and complexity
2016 Limited Release Roussanne
This is the first time we have ever bottled Roussanne by itself; the wine shows its heritage with richness and tropical fruit. It is sourced from a cooler site that allows for extended hang time and full flavor
2016 Limited Release Dry Muscat Canelli
We picked some of the Muscat Canelli early this year and fermented it nearly dry to offer a light refreshing version, with a delightful effervescence. The wine has a blast of jasmine, rose, gardenia aromas followed by a nice bright mandarin spicy spritziness on the palate.
2016 Fringes Pinot Noir
Our Pinot Noir grapes are nestled into the slopes of the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge. With windswept views of Mt. Hood, they sit on the edge of Pinot Noir country. Fringes brings these outlying grapes together to create a Pinot that pairs bright red fruit with unique earthiness.
2016 Limited Release Canoe Ridge Estate Red Wine Blend
The combination of our Canoe Ridge Estate fruit with no varietal restrictions is one of my favorite blends to put together every year. Complex, elegant Cabernet Sauvignon (57%) mingles with the deep jam characters of the Malbec (29%). A touch of Cabernet Franc and Merlot (7% each) completes the wonderful mélange.
2015 Limited Release Block 9 Cabernet Sauvignon
Vibrant blackberry flavors are layered with hints of tomato leaf and toasted walnuts, creating a lively entry that recedes to reveal fine tannins that linger on the finish.
2015 Limited Release Cold Creek Cabernet Franc
The 2015 vintage was the warmest and earliest on record, however our cool Harvest evenings kept the natural acidity intact, so all of the lush, ripe fruit has a tight framework of acidity to best showcase Cold Creek Cab Franc! It is decadent, luxurious and also tightly wound.
2015 "Rich Wheeler Block" Cabernet Sauvignon
This wine showcases vibrant character notes of ripe berries, violets and a long, velvety finish.
2015 Limited Release Block 9 Merlot
This jazzy Merlot is a real chameleon. With notes of mocha and juicy black plums, it has enough fruit and spice to be a welcome guest at any down-home BBQ, but bring it out for a gourmet meal and its bright acidity and plush tannins make it a perfect partner for the finest fare.
2015 "The Nod" Merlot
Merlot can sometimes be overshadowed by other varieties, but this one is no shrinking violet. With bold, dense tannins, saturated, deep color, and pronounced flavors of dark fruit and exotic spices, this merlot displays the extravagance and complexity that can only be achieved in Washington.
2016 Limited Release Pinot Blanc
The fruit for this fun vibrant Pinot Blanc was sourced from the Yakima Valley; it shows hints of anise and cardamom along with stone fruit and floral notes. Tank fermented and aged sur lie for 6 months to highlight the slight minerality in the rich, luscious palate.
2014 Limited Release Austral Red Wine
The combination of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre is joined by Cinsaut, which refines and brightens the complex palate. Partially fermented and aged in concrete tanks, weaving threads of pure fruit throughout is spiraling depth; focused tannins and exotic spice make this red wine a sensory delight.
2016 Limited Release Boreal Syrah
Boreal begins with Syrah (94%) from Archie Den Hoed’s Yakima Valley vineyards. The cooler site, along with more canopy, give us grapes perfect for this lighter more delicate style. Co-fermented with Viognier (6%) from our Canoe Ridge Estate Vineyard for floral notes to pair with the bright red fruit.
2015 Limited Release Cabernet Sauvignon
For this wine in particular I strive to create an archetype – a wine that exemplifies the variety and its place of origin. This vintage, that quest led to an eminently enjoyable wine with complex aromas and flavors of blueberries, cocoa, tapenade, and wet stone, complemented by a smooth weighty finish.
2014 Limited Release Cold Creek Red
Cold Creek is an amazing vineyard for many reasons, not the least of which is its ability to consistently showcase varieties that display purity of fruit along with rich texture from one vintage to the next.
2014 Limited Release Cabernet Franc
The vineyard is one of the hottest in Washington, and helps the Cab Franc reach full ripeness year after year. Vintage 2014 was very hot, and the ripening season was quite long. This wine is full, plush, with moderate acidity and beautiful primary fruit shining through.

2014 Limited Release Walla Walla Red Wine Blend
Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. At 53%, Cabernet Sauvignon has a slight majority over Merlot’s 47%, but numbers aren’t everything. Their parity of influence is evidenced by the seamless integration of broad and fine tannins, herbal and ripe fruit notes, rich viscosity and elegant lift.
2015 Druthers Cabernet Sauvignon
Dense, ripe tannins were accentuated by nice grip from the firm acid structure, and resulted in a very rich, full expression. Still everything you look for in Druthers – decadence, rich and ripe fruit, full tasty mouthfeel and almost (but not quite) too much of a great Cab!
2014 Limited Release Malbec
Malbec in Washington state is becoming a “thing” in my estimation. It loves our warm, dry climate and thrives in almost every region. It’s a wonderful combination of our Cold Creek and Canoe Ridge Vineyards with a touch of Indian Wells. Rich jam and spice flavors, it’s one of my favorites every year.
2015 Limited Release Mourvèdre
Having a glass is like being invited into a grandparent’s study; you enter an inner sanctum of cozy, shadowed corners that cloak you in complex aromas of black fruit, bay leaf, and jasmine and settle you into a recliner of broad strapping tannins and flavors of roasted fowl and tobacco.
2012 Limited Release Petit Verdot
Petit Verdot is generally cast in a supporting role for Bordeaux-style blends, but this varietal bottling gives its intense, unique personality a chance to shine. This 2012 vintage does a superb job of highlighting the characteristic dense, brooding structure and alluring dark fruit flavors.
2017 Limited Release Austral White Wine
For the Austral this year, we co-fermented a blend of Roussanne, Marsanne, and Viognier together in a barrel. The result is a seamless, rich wine. We layered tank-fermented Grenache Blanc and Roussanne for brightness while a touch more of Viognier from barrel brought ripe stone fruit and texture.
