A fan favorite, this Gewürztraminer is a flavorful wine with bright, expressive fruit and clove spice. This is a lush style of Gewürztraminer with intense floral character, yet it still maintains the grape’s natural crisp acidity. A majority of the fruit is from selected cooler sites in Washington’s Yakima Valley, which yields bright, aromatic Gewürztraminer fruit. 2014 was an ideal growing season and one of the warmest on record in Eastern Washington.
2013 Dry Gewürztraminer
This dry style of Gewürztraminer presents the celebrated spicy ginger and clove aromatics of a classic Gewürztraminer mixed with hints of rose, lychee and pink grapefruit. Half the wine was fermented in stainless steel to capture these classic fruit notes, and half in neutral oak barrels for added complexity and richness on the palate. Selected cool sites in Washington’s Columbia Valley yield bright, aromatic Gewürztraminer fruit.
2014 Oak Oval Gewürztraminer
This dry style Gewürztraminer presents the celebrated spicy ginger and clove aromatics of a classic Gewürztraminer mixed with hints of rose, lychee and pink grapefruit. This wine was fermented in the Oak Oval and aged sur lie for four months adding texture and complexity.
