Bratwurst Dogs with Peppers and Onions

Serves 6
Ingredients
- 1 (18-oz) pkg original pork bratwurst links
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1½ cups Chateau Ste Michelle Riesling
- ¼ cup whole grain Dijon mustard
- 3 Tbsp maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
- 6 hoagie rolls, split
Directions
- Cook sausages in hot oil in a large skillet over medium heat until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Add onions and peppers to skillet; cook 5 to 6 minutes or until crisp tender.
- Return sausages to skillet and add wine; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes or until sausages are done and wine is almost evaporated.
- Meanwhile, stir together mustard, syrup, and vinegar in a bowl.
- Serve sausages and peppers in rolls drizzled with mustard sauce.
