Chateau Ste. Michelle Property Guidelines

We are thrilled you have chosen to spend time with us at Chateau Ste. Michelle. Our property is meant to be enjoyed by all guests, and to ensure a safe, welcoming, respectful, and beautiful environment for everyone, we kindly ask that all visitors follow the guidelines outlined on this page.

  • Guests are only permitted on property during posted operating hours.
  • Guests must exit the property at closing time.
  • There is no guest access permitted before opening or after closing hours. Please note, you are able to arrive early on property if you have a scheduled event or tasting experience.
  • Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
  • Unsupervised children are not permitted anywhere on property.
  • For safety reasons, children may not climb on trees, buildings, walls, trout ponds, landscaping, or any property structures.
  • Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited anywhere on property.
  • Guests found with outside alcohol will be asked to leave immediately.
  • Chateau Ste. Michelle maintains zero tolerance for underage drinking. Any violations will result in removal from the property.
  • Our team actively monitors for signs of overconsumption and reserves the right to refuse service or ask guests to leave property at any time.
  • Personal games and sports equipment are not permitted on property.
  • No footballs, balls, frisbees, or similar recreational items may be thrown or used on property grounds.
  • Guests may inquire with Guest Services regarding approved Chateau Ste. Michelle lawn games that may be available for checkout.

  • Dogs are welcome only in designated areas and must remain on a leash at all times.
  • Guests must pick up after their pets and dispose of appropriately.
  • Guests are responsible for following all posted dog policies and maintaining control of their pets throughout their visit.
  • Open flames of any kind are prohibited.
  • This includes, but is not limited to, barbecues, Sternos, grills, candles, fire pits, or any guest-provided heating or cooking devices.
  • At Chateau Ste. Michelle, we are committed to treating every guest with kindness, professionalism, and respect. In return, we ask that all guests treat our team members, vendors, partners, and fellow visitors with the same level of courtesy and respect at all times.
  • Disruptive, abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior toward staff or guests will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the property.
  • Chateau Ste. Michelle reserves the right to enforce all property rules at any location on the estate.
  • Guests who do not follow these guidelines may be asked to leave the property.
