The 2020 Yakima Valley Red Blend brings together ripe brambly boysenberry, and black cherry on the nose, and doubles down on rich juicy berries and dark chocolate on the palate, along with subtle toasty oak. This wine is plush, with elegant tannins that create a beautiful silky mouthfeel.

This Sémillon is all about the texture! A portion was fermented on the skins, for complexity and backbone. The remainder was vinified in clay amphora for richness, concrete for minerality and stainless steel for vibrancy and fruit intensity. The result is a complex wine showing notes of honeycomb, grass, and juicy citrus. Enjoy!

Sometimes when assembling a blend you just get lucky on your first try. In this case we quickly struck gold. In just the second round of blending we found the perfect balance of freshness, depth and complexity with just the right amount of sweetness that perfectly captured the cool 2019 vintage.

Our 2018 Block Nine Merlot plays with a chip on its shoulder! It’s a perfect example of why Merlot from Washington State is so distinctively delicious! The palate is dense and richly textured due to signature mouth-filling tannins. Alluring layers of sweet cherry compote and mocha round out the palate.

In my nearly 22 years working in the cellar I have worked with many passionate winemakers. I was given the opportunity to make my first wine and I chose my favorite variety. This Block 9 Cabernet Sauvignon offers aromatics and flavors of black fruits, balanced on the palate, with a soft silky finish.

We crafted this luscious red blend with a warm summer day, some live music, and a picnic blanket in mind. We chose vineyards that express themselves early and pushed the fermentations toward a lighter, fresher profile. It is lively, fruity and juicy while also having a satisfying smooth and rich palate.

This Provencal-styled rosé is crisp and dry with a lively character. The wine offers bright aromas of juicy watermelon and peach with underlying citrus and apricot flavors.

Bright brambly raspberry and blackberry aromas leap out of the glass followed by candied orange peel, delicate allspice and cedar, and a kiss of vanilla. The flavors are bright and vibrant with juicy ripe strawberries and citrus notes. A silky smooth entry and gives way to a pleasing soft finish.

The best vintages produce complex wines and 2018 was exceptional-especially for Rhone-style varieties. The 2018 Austral is fresh and wild with fascinating notes of green peppercorns, rhubarb and raspberry tea. The mid-palate is broad with ample ripe fruit. Sweet spice and currant notes extend the finish.

This Merlot, crafted from unique vineyards, is bursting with aromas of earthy, brambly blackberry and ripe plumbs complimented by vanilla spice. Flavors of decadent, juicy dark fruit also match perfectly with velvety yet weighty dark tannins and an endless finish.
