Snipes Mountain became Washington’s 10th official AVA in 2009, but first plantings of vines were as early as 1917. The steep terrain is decorated with boulders and gullies which generate brisk fog in the morning and intense sunshine in the afternoon. This Syrah is rich and concentrated. Mourvèdre is such a fascinating and distinctive varietal, so blending it is always a huge treat! 2019 was no exception as the vintage brought out delicate and beautiful flavors. Sweet plum and blueberry fruit play against notes of brine pepper, and red meat.

We love Washington Sémillon for its full body that also surprises your palate with lively flavors. To showcase this unique identity, the wine was mostly fermented in tank to highlight the zesty fruit, but we also blended barrel fermented wine to bring out the rich and creamy texture of the grape.

The Yakima Valley region’s sunny days and cool evening temperatures create ideal conditions for intense aroma and flavor development in the ripening grapes. The season produced white wines with varietal character and bright vibrancy.

This Rhône-style white wine is full on the palate with a zesty finish. The majority was stainless steel fermented to highlight flavors of blood orange and jasmine. Wine from neutral barrels was blended in to provide body.

This Marsanne fruit got split this year into a tank and barrel ferment. It went to barrel without yeast – wild– and it delivered. It has a rich, viscous palate, while still retaining fruit. The barrel portion was then blended with a bit of the tank ferment which adds verse and a bright fruit backbone.

This elegant expression of Chardonnay was fermented in concrete and stainless tanks producing a bright and fruit forward wine. Peachy aromas greet you on the nose and hints of wet stone jump out of the glass. Enjoy this scrumptious food friendly wine in the sun with some yummy sushi.

This vintage is 98% Syrah co-fermented with 2% Viognier. The touches of Viognier dances with floral notes and accentuates the vibrant fruit of Syrah. Aged for 16 months in French oak, this wine is adventurous, balanced and fun.

The fates aligned for the 2018 vintage and Indian Wells Vineyard Syrah. Growing conditions and fermentation went exactly as planned to create a wine that perfectly represents the rare combination of vibrancy, delicacy, and luscious fruitiness produced by only this vineyard and this vintage.

Boreal reflects elegance and structure. This Syrah was co-fermented with 3% Viognier, sourced from Archie Den Hoed Vineyards (54%) Canoe Ridge Estate Vineyard (32%) and Anna Marie Vineyard (14%). Specific to cooler sites, this wine showcases lifted floral notes, vibrant red fruits and delicate tannins.

This refreshing red blend is light on its feet, dancing with notes of raspberries and strawberries on the palate. Enjoy this beautifully textured and aromatic wine that was meticulously shaped from the cooler sites of Walla Walla.

The 2018 Cold Creek Red Blend showcases a delicious and fascinating spice notes. The palate opens with sweetness and density. Balance is maintained by ultrafine texture which draws out the fruit-driven finish. A slight dusting of cocoa caps off this non-traditional expression of Cold Creek Vineyard.

The 2019 Cinsaut shows how this varietal can thrive in Washington State. In the cellar, nearly half of this wine was aged in large 600-liter barrels to enhance very intricacy and nuance of flavor. Cinsaut always overperforms on the palate with silky yet substantial weight, and this wine is no exception!

This wine is a beautiful ensemble of Old World wine making flare. With 7% co-fermented Viognier, this Syrah is elegant and floral with aromas of dried red fruits, honeysuckle and cedar. The palate is a balance of complex bright red fruits, lifted texture and spice followed by a vibrant, savory finish.
