MICHAEL JORDAN

EXECUTIVE CHEF

“I want to instill memories into people. You may not remember what you eat, but you will remember your experience, and how you felt about it.”

For Chef Michael Jordan, the family aspect of a kitchen is what initially sparked his interest in the culinary arts — and his love for providing exceptional guest experiences is what fuels his creativity.

After studying at the Culinary Institute of America, Chef Michael’s long-storied career has taken him all over the United States, from working with celebrity Chef Emeril Lagasse in the French Quarter to owning his own highly acclaimed restaurant, Rosemary’s in Las Vegas.

Chef Michael’s passion and extensive experience with both food and wine seemed like a natural fit considering Chateau Ste. Michelle prior to joining in 2022. His approach to pairing the two is to first select wine and use those flavors and aromas to inspire the dishes he creates allowing the wines to shine alongside his incredible food. When asked about his culinary philosophy, Chef said his approach is to “keep your food simple. We’re one of the most agriculturally diverse states, so let your ingredients speak for themselves.”

Along with developing gourmet lunch and dinner menus paired with Chateau Ste. Michelle and Eroica wines, Chef loves curating new, memorable experiences for our food-focused guests.

Outside the kitchen, Chef Michael enjoys traveling, white wine and spending time with his wife and two children.
