Warm boysenberry, raspberry and black cherry mingle with sweet smoky tobacco, delicately layered with spice, savory herbs and a hint of cocoa. Velvety and rich, this Rhone-inspired blend weaves my favorite vineyards together in a seamless tapestry spreading across the Yakima Valley.

The unique 2019 vintage in Washington started late after snow events giving the reds a wonderful harmony of fruit and acidity. This Malbec is no exception. It is a wonderful blend of 95% Malbec bringing raspberry and spice and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon for a little complementary structure.

Capturing the breathtaking beauty and comforting warmth of our Canoe Ridge Estate vineyard in a red blend is a task any winemaker would gladly undertake. Many varieties thrive on Canoe Ridge and this year I found the perfect combination of Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet and Syrah.

This grape is typically blended with other Bordeaux style varietals and contributes structure, dark color and weight to a wine. On its own, the purity of fruit presents hints of tangy blackberry with herbal notes of anise and black tea.

Hooray, for another Gamay! We got our hands on one of the few Washington Gamay plantings from Carousel Vineyard. This wine saw carbonic fermentation in a concrete pyramid and was blended with some whole cluster stainless steel fermented Gamay lending flavors of red fruit and cinnamon.

Much of the fruit for our Block 9 Merlot is sourced from vineyards with particularly course, sandy soils. These conditions are seemingly lifeless and inhospitable, yet produce a wine with dark, sinewy layers of flavor and concentrated fruit. Light pepper notes provide a top-end flourish to accompany the long finish.

Wines from multiple vineyards were brought together for maximum intricacy. Some Cabernet was layered in to round out the palate. Delicate candy-like and floral aromas jump out at first, but hiding just beneath is an earthy underbelly of tapenade and dark berries. An initial freshness gives way to a rich and a powdery finish.

Brisk fall days are just better with this wine’s crisp refreshing finish. This inaugural release is a tribute to that special time of year, the harvest season and all things fall! Cozy up with aromas of tangerine and distinctive allspice. Bring on sweater season and layer up with honeydew melon and lychee fruit.

This wine was fermented in stainless steel to enhance the fruit notes of lychee and mandarin. It is gorgeously floral showing perfumy notes of citrus blossom and jasmine. Enjoy!

This 2020 Blanc de Blanc is produced using the traditional Champagne method and exhibits delightful tiny streaming bubbles. It offers aromas of citrus zest and freshly toasted French bread. The initial flavors match the aromatics, but then add in notes of green apple, toasted almonds, and a complex rich finish.

The perfect wine for your getaway. Expressing with fruit forward melon and peach but the richness gives it versatility that surpasses its peers. Pair with sunshine on the lake or flurries of snow on your favorite mountain.

Back by popular demand, I present to you our limited release Pinot Gris. This wine strikes a balance between freshness and richness. Enjoy the hints of pear and luscious melon along with a balanced finish.

Only in Washington can we flip the script on Cabernet Sauvignon like this! Forget oak, tannins and power. Come to the lighter side: Stainless steel, vibrant fruit, delicate palate. This wine delights with aromas and flavors of granny smith apple, white peach and lime zest.

This Dry Muscat Canelli is a captivating expression of the varietal, showcasing its aromatic intensity and vibrant palate in a dry style. With hints of ripe peach and balanced acidity, this is a delightful wine that will pair with any occasion.

Like a song, our summer is beautiful and short-lived. Transforming from its hibernation of grey skies, it emerges bright and glimmering. So, spread your wings into the sunlight as you savor the crisp citrus and ripe apricot notes of this smooth white blend.

The 2017 vintage has produced many red wines with seamless, sometimes even restrained characters. Our second version of Washington state Zin… not so much. Racy aromas of blackberry and spice mingle with a jammy, full throttle finish indicative of this fruit forward variety!

Viognier is one of my favorite varietals to work with. This aromatic grape lends notes of citrus blossom, mandarin, honey and graham cracker. Fermented in neutral oak, you’ll find the perfect balance of fruit, texture and weight on the palate.

Often overshadowed by its hotter neighboring appellations, the Yakima Valley is smattered with slopes, swales, and canyons that produce an exceptional gradient of wines. 59% Merlot offers a rich, structured base while 39% Syrah complements with layers of red fruits and wild peppercorns.
