2010 Artist Series Box Set
Chateau Ste. Michelle’s Artist Series Meritage red wine celebrates the inspired collaboration between artisan winemaking and fine art. The 2010 featured artist Ben Darby merges whimsy with sharp wit, and nostalgic, childhood iconography with technical virtuosity. Darby’s proprietary acrylic technique lets the paint burst from the canvas in bright, three dimensional textures. Artist Series is the ultimate sculpted wine created by blending the best of Washington fruit. The 2010 represents a larger percentage of Cold Creek Cabernet than in previous years (85%). The cooler 2010 vintage gave us power and elegance. The wine delivers black cherry aromas and spice notes with velvety tannins. 2013 Ethos Reserve Chardonnay
An expression of Old World “Burgundian” style combined with our beautiful Washington fruit, the 2013 Ethos Chardonnay is sourced predominately from our vineyards of Canoe Ridge Estate and Cold Creek Vineyard. Natural fermentation contributes complexity of the wine. The long, warm, consistent 2013 growing season resulted in beautifully ripe and balanced white wines. Rich and layered, this is a Chardonnay to cellar and will age beautifully. - Columbia Valley
2012 Artist Series Red Wine - Full Label
The Artist Series is a very personal statement for me and what I enjoy most about Washington state red wines. It’s the first wine I blend from all of our amazing vineyards in the Columbia Valley as I look for more restraint and complexity with an underlying ballast of Washington state power. The idyllic 2012 vintage in Washington gave me some of our best wines to date to craft this special 20th Artist Series bottling. Our vineyard at Canoe Ridge Estate lent signature elegance from the perfect combination of ripeness and soft tannins. Our Cold Creek vineyard contributed weight, dark fruit and subtle sweetness. 2008 Canoe Ridge Estate Merlot
The Canoe Ridge Estate Merlot is a complex Merlot with black cherry fruit character with refined tannins. Planted in 1991, this vineyard is getting more mature and so are the winemakers! With increased vine age, this wine is showing more depth, richness and layers of dark fruit than in previous vintages.
