Bright brambly raspberry and blackberry aromas leap out of the glass followed by candied orange peel, delicate allspice and cedar, and a kiss of vanilla. The flavors are bright and vibrant with juicy ripe strawberries and citrus notes. A silky smooth entry and gives way to a pleasing soft finish.

The Ethos Late Harvest Muscat is a rich, decadent wine with intense aromas of apricot, peaches, and baking spices. Layers of concentrated flavors are wonderfully balanced with natural acidity and a pure, luscious finish.

The best vintages produce complex wines and 2018 was exceptional-especially for Rhone-style varieties. The 2018 Austral is fresh and wild with fascinating notes of green peppercorns, rhubarb and raspberry tea. The mid-palate is broad with ample ripe fruit. Sweet spice and currant notes extend the finish.

Our goal with our Ethos Reserve wines is to showcase the best of Washington for the varietal and the vintage. The Ethos Merlot offers blueberry fruit with wonderful complexity and rich layers. Our Merlots in Washington are so big and concentrated, we actually add a touch of Cabernet to soften the tannins.

Snipes Mountain became Washington’s 10th official AVA in 2009, but first plantings of vines were as early as 1917. The steep terrain is decorated with boulders and gullies which generate brisk fog in the morning and intense sunshine in the afternoon. This Syrah is rich and concentrated. Mourvèdre is such a fascinating and distinctive varietal, so blending it is always a huge treat! 2019 was no exception as the vintage brought out delicate and beautiful flavors. Sweet plum and blueberry fruit play against notes of brine pepper, and red meat.

Sourced from a single block of our Cold Creek Vineyard, fermented with the pedal to the metal, and aged in the finest French oak barrels, Druthers Cabernet Sauvignon is the decadent wine lover’s dream. Inky dark color, rich, juicy flavors, and endless complexity.

While a departure from the typical Druthers Cabernet, faithful fans and new converts alike will appreciate the unmatched decadence of this wine. We love Washington Sémillon for its full body that also surprises your palate with lively flavors. To showcase this unique identity, the wine was mostly fermented in tank to highlight the zesty fruit, but we also blended barrel fermented wine to bring out the rich and creamy texture of the grape.

The Yakima Valley region’s sunny days and cool evening temperatures create ideal conditions for intense aroma and flavor development in the ripening grapes. The season produced white wines with varietal character and bright vibrancy.

This Rhône-style white wine is full on the palate with a zesty finish. The majority was stainless steel fermented to highlight flavors of blood orange and jasmine. Wine from neutral barrels was blended in to provide body.

This Marsanne fruit got split this year into a tank and barrel ferment. It went to barrel without yeast – wild– and it delivered. It has a rich, viscous palate, while still retaining fruit. The barrel portion was then blended with a bit of the tank ferment which adds verse and a bright fruit backbone.

This elegant expression of Chardonnay was fermented in concrete and stainless tanks producing a bright and fruit forward wine. Peachy aromas greet you on the nose and hints of wet stone jump out of the glass. Enjoy this scrumptious food friendly wine in the sun with some yummy sushi.

This vintage is 98% Syrah co-fermented with 2% Viognier. The touches of Viognier dances with floral notes and accentuates the vibrant fruit of Syrah. Aged for 16 months in French oak, this wine is adventurous, balanced and fun.

The fates aligned for the 2018 vintage and Indian Wells Vineyard Syrah. Growing conditions and fermentation went exactly as planned to create a wine that perfectly represents the rare combination of vibrancy, delicacy, and luscious fruitiness produced by only this vineyard and this vintage.

Boreal reflects elegance and structure. This Syrah was co-fermented with 3% Viognier, sourced from Archie Den Hoed Vineyards (54%) Canoe Ridge Estate Vineyard (32%) and Anna Marie Vineyard (14%). Specific to cooler sites, this wine showcases lifted floral notes, vibrant red fruits and delicate tannins.

This refreshing red blend is light on its feet, dancing with notes of raspberries and strawberries on the palate. Enjoy this beautifully textured and aromatic wine that was meticulously shaped from the cooler sites of Walla Walla.

The 2018 Cold Creek Red Blend showcases a delicious and fascinating spice notes. The palate opens with sweetness and density. Balance is maintained by ultrafine texture which draws out the fruit-driven finish. A slight dusting of cocoa caps off this non-traditional expression of Cold Creek Vineyard.

The 2019 Cinsaut shows how this varietal can thrive in Washington State. In the cellar, nearly half of this wine was aged in large 600-liter barrels to enhance very intricacy and nuance of flavor. Cinsaut always overperforms on the palate with silky yet substantial weight, and this wine is no exception!

This wine is a beautiful ensemble of Old World wine making flare. With 7% co-fermented Viognier, this Syrah is elegant and floral with aromas of dried red fruits, honeysuckle and cedar. The palate is a balance of complex bright red fruits, lifted texture and spice followed by a vibrant, savory finish.

Characteristic vibrant red fruit and earthy leather of Sangiovese meld with raspberry jam and floral elements to create a wine that is fresh, nuanced and smooth.

Walla Walla Red is a blend of Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon with a touch of Tempranillo and Viognier. Aged in 41% new French oak, this supple wine carries notes of blackberry, spice, anise and clove seamlessly throughout the palate. The silky texture and delicate finish showcase the unique terroir of Walla Walla. Enjoy!

Sometimes it's great just to give it your best shot with one mixed fermenter! This entire blend is a co-fermentation of one of our best Merlots (76%) and our one jammy block of Malbec (24%). The Merlot had to hang out awhile and wait for the Malbec to be perfect, but it is worth the wait. Enjoy!

Classic Zin characters of light raspberry jam and toast, I added just a touch of Syrah to fill out the palate but still keep the wonderful Zinnyness. Enjoy!

This wine highlights the broad range of wine that can be made with Syrah. These Syrah (90%) grapes were co-fermented with Viognier (10%) in the style of Côte-Rôtie in Northern Rhône region of France. The Viognier brings a delicate character to the Syrah and together they create a wine with notes of orange blossom, raspberry brambles and red currants.

Looking for the fresher, more complex wines, I found myself turning to our Canoe Ridge Estate vineyard. At 77% it is the largest this vineyard has ever been in the Artist Series; the site is maturing before our eyes, making the perfect combination of density and restraint. 13% from Dean Canyon Vineyard, is blended with Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon from Lawrence Vineyard (10%). This fruit brings color, weight and a touch of herb notes. This 25th anniversary vintage of Artist Series is going to be very special. Enjoy!

Cold Creek Vineyard's 40-year-old vines deliver a big, concentrated Merlot. This wine delivers rich Washington black fruit flavors with layers of complexity. An intense Merlot with great ageability, the 2011 vintage displays deep color and rich varietal flavors from one of Washington State's most renowned vineyards.

We crafted this Red Mountain Cab to highlight the ripe fruit characteristics and intense aromatics and focused tannins reflective of this very hot and dry region. Our wine offers aromas and flavors of black cherry, cardamom spice and dark chocolate with an elegant structure and refined tannins.

The 2018 vintage gave us a perfect combination of heat for ripening in the summer and a gradual cool down during harvest that allowed proper ripeness in the ideal timeframe. This year's blend is a special combination of Canoe Ridge Estate (39%), Cold Creek (26%), Kelly (18%), and Dineen (17%) Vineyards. The combination of warmer and cooler sites is the exact expression I look for in the Artist Series. The cooler sites provide dark cherry fruit, a touch of herbs and delicate harmony. The warmer sites give ballast and depth to add concentration and aging potential. This wine plays the perfect role of 'Old World' styling with "New World' structure.

Cold Creek’s 45-year-old vines deliver a big, concentrated Merlot. This wine offers black fruit flavors with layers of complexity. This is our most intense Merlot with great ageability.

The Canoe Ridge Estate Chardonnay is refined and elegant and offers apple and citrus aromas with a clean, refreshing finish. We age the wine in lighter French oak barrels to maintain the fresh, elegant style of this Chardonnay.

Our 45-year old Cold Creek Vineyard makes up more than half of the blend and provides the wine's power and structure. This is the most complex of our Cabernets and offers layers of ripe blueberry fruit with silky tannins.

In France, Counoise is one of the 13 allowed but lesser known Rhône Valley varietals. Larger, yet dark berries yield a light, balanced wine that has nice acidity, bright pepper notes and a lively, fruity finish. It is commonly blended in Châteauneuf du Pape, but is a fun yet interesting wine all on its own! Enjoy!
