Columbia Valley2022 Limited Release Seasons Chardonnay
This Chardonnay was fermented and aged in oak barrels for 10 months. The wood for the new barrel portion was seasoned for two years at the winery giving the wine a subtle spice and nutty character combined with concentrated fruit notes of apple and pear. The 2018 vintage provided magical conditions to create a complex Merlot. Dineen Vineyard makes up 55% of this wine, and I added depth and texture with 45% old vine Cold Creek Vineyard Merlot. This Merlot encapsulates everything that is remarkable about Washington State Merlot made by Chateau Ste. Michelle.
