This flavorful red wine is a fresh take on a classic Rhone-style blend. Bright brambly raspberry and blackberry aromas leap out of the glass followed by candied orange peel, delicate allspice and cedar, and a kiss of vanilla. My Old World style vineyard is a natural for beautifully sculpted, complex red blends. This one was crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon (47%), Merlot (23%), Syrah (14%), Malbec (14%) and Cabernet Franc (2%). Five varietals from one Estate vineyard make for a harmonic statement that I enjoy crafting every year.

This is a lighter, fresher style of Muscat Canelli than we have made in years past. The wine still has the beautiful tropical fruit and floral notes that are characteristic to this variety but the wine is drier and much more food friendly. Crack open a bottle for any occasion!

Viognier is one of my favorite varietals to work with. This aromatic grape lends notes of citrus blossom, mandarin, honey and graham cracker. Fermented in neutral oak, you’ll find the perfect balance of fruit, texture and weight on the palate.

Delicate and delectable, this wine is remarkably elegant. Pomegranate aromas with forest moss undertones are chased by vibrant acidity. A tip-toe of gentle, seamless tannins keeps this wine fresh to the last drop.

Often overshadowed by its hotter neighboring appellations, the Yakima Valley is smattered with slopes, swales, and canyons that produce an exceptional gradient of wines. 59% Merlot offers a rich, structured base while 39% Syrah complements with layers of red fruits and wild peppercorns.

Like a chameleon, Chenin Blanc retains its distinctive identity, but also echoes its surroundings. This unique characteristic allowed the winemaker to capture a remarkable vintage and use wine from concrete, barrel and stainless steel to create the most complex wine possible with a balance of liveliness and lushness.

This C.S.M. is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc, with a touch of Muscat Canelli. The Chenin Blanc offers bright, fresh melon while the Sauvignon Blanc throws in citrus and minerality. The Muscat Canelli adds a little honeysuckle for intrigue.

We crafted this luscious red blend with a warm summer day, some live music, and a picnic blanket in mind. We chose vineyards that express themselves early and pushed the fermentations toward a lighter, fresher profile. It is lively, fruity and juicy while also having a satisfying smooth and rich palate.

This Rhône-style white wine is full on the palate with a zesty finish. The majority was stainless steel fermented to highlight flavors of blood orange and jasmine. Wine from neutral barrels was blended in to provide body.

This majority Grenache blend (54%) is accompanied by Syrah (32%), Cinsaut (9%) and Mourvèdre (5%). Palate entry is focused and alluring, delivering an array of lush red fruits. In the cellar, select 500-liter puncheons were chosen to retain freshness and accentuate the lengthy finish.

The 2019 Austral is exceptionally vibrant and refreshing, with lively fruit and complex undertones. Fresh raspberry coulis and sweet cherry anchor the wine with swirling flavors of game and savory herb. A clean, balanced finish with just the right amount of acidity.

Making wine is a balancing act with an inherent collaboration with Mother Nature, grape growers, and winemakers. The journey from grape to bottle is an uncertain one and with each risk taken, the potential for greatness grows in exchange. The 2020 Yakima Valley Red Blend brings together ripe brambly boysenberry, and black cherry on the nose, and doubles down on rich juicy berries and dark chocolate on the palate, along with subtle toasty oak. This wine is plush, with elegant tannins that create a beautiful silky mouthfeel.

This wine was fermented in stainless steel to enhance the fruit notes of lychee and mandarin. It is gorgeously floral showing perfumy notes of citrus blossom and jasmine. Enjoy!
